Zulu people (/zuːluː/; Zulu: amaZulu) are an Nguni ethnic group in Southern Africa. The Zulu people are the largest ethnic group and nation in South Africa with an estimated 10–12 million people living mainly in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
Zulu Locale: The home of the Zulu tribe is located in the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa, but members of the tribe live throughout southern Africa.

KwaZulu-Natal Province Is Home To The Zulu Tribe Most of the 9 million Zulu-speakers in South Africa reside in this province or have migrated initially from this province to other provinces in South Africa. Since majority of its population are Zulu-speaking people, it is therefore known as the home of the Zulu Tribe.
Zulu beliefs are formed around the presence of ancestral spirits, known as amadlozi and abaphansi. Ancestors’ presence comes in the form of dreams, sickness and snakes. Opportune times to communicate with ancestors are during birth, puberty, marriage and death. Ancestors are implored through offerings and sacrifices.
Recent history It was led until its abolition in 1994 by Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi of the Zulu royal family and head of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP). It was merged with the surrounding South African province of Natal to form the new province of KwaZulu-Natal.
Bantu language
Zulu language, a Bantu language spoken by more than nine million people mainly in South Africa, especially in the Zululand area of KwaZulu/Natal province. The Zulu language is a member of the Southeastern, or Nguni, subgroup of the Bantu group of the Benue-Congo branch of the Niger-Congo language family.
The word Zulu means ‘Heaven’, the Zulu people, amaZulu, are ‘The People of Heaven’, and their home KwaZulu is ‘The Place of Heaven’.
The name Zulu is primarily a male name of African – South Africa origin that means Heaven.
King Misuzulu kaZwelithini
The present head of the Zulu royal family is King Misuzulu kaZwelithini. He was announced as the king on the day of his mother’s funeral, Queen regent Mantfombi Dlamini, who died unexpectedly on 29 April 2021.
Zulu, a nation of Nguni-speaking people in KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa. They are a branch of the southern Bantu and have close ethnic, linguistic, and cultural ties with the Swazi and Xhosa. The Zulu are the single largest ethnic group in South Africa and numbered about nine million in the late 20th century.
They do not have the luxury of the essential amenities, such as clean water and electricity. Their houses are either of circular shape (rondavels) or rectangular. The materials, mostly used to build their homes are mud or concrete blocks, and a thatched roof made of grass or iron sheets.
Many Zulus are also able to converse in other languages that include English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, and Portuguese. Apart from all the National Holidays in South Africa, there is one holiday that is dear to the Zulu people, and it is called Shaka Day.
Most Zulu people state their beliefs to be Christian.
