How to Make a Waste Water Treatment Plant Model
There are three main stages of the wastewater treatment process, aptly known as primary, secondary and tertiary water treatment. In some applications, more advanced treatment is required, known as quaternary water treatment.

Settling and decanting is a method to reduce turbidity by letting the water sit for 2-24 hours so that the particulates settle to the bottom of the container. The clear water is then decanted off the top into a second container.
The first step in the sewage sludge treatment plan is called thickening. In this step, the sewage sludge is thickened in a gravity thickener to reduce its overall volume, thus enabling the easy handling of the sludge.
There are three ways to reduce this turbidity:
Bacteria, viruses, and parasites such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium can attach themselves to the suspended particles in turbid water. These particles then interfere with disinfection by shielding contaminants from the disinfectant (e.g. chlorine).
What is sewage treatment plants and how they work ? It is one type of wastewater treatment methods which is designed to hold polluted water in specially designed compartments. This plant goes through series of stages that involves extracting waste from the waste water influent.

Screening removes large objects like diapers, nappies, sanitary items, cotton buds, face wipes, and even broken bottles, bottle tops, plastics, and rags that may block or damage equipment.
The mesh screen also helps in breaking the solid particle of organic waste ( sewage ) to break into smaller particles. The primary chamber acts as the collection and holding tank for the raw sewage. These tanks are equipped with level sensors and float switch to detect sewage level and avoid overflow.
It is done by putting the wastewater into large settlement tanks for the solids to sink to the bottom. The settled solids are called sludge. At the bottom of these circular tanks, large scrappers continuously scrape the floor of the tank and push the sludge towards the center, where it is pumped away for further treatment.
